yea the code i wrote had some problems and just dont have time right now to fix it. ill hopefully be able to work on this site sometime soon. im just glad that it works

I compared every line related to the problem with a clean snitz 3.4.03, and no diffrence whatsoever, that's odd. I'll look at it again when I'll be a bit more awake

nope, havnt had time to do anything. im trying to finish writing a shopping cart program for one of my customers websites.

i found out that it does work in the forum's default.asp, but not in the site's, can you make a text version of the forum's, just in case some changes you made apply in this case?

I didn't find anything diffrent between those parts of the files, but I pasted the entier active topics query part from the forum, to the "home" default.asp, If it doesn't work, that's the wierdest problem I have ever seen!

david, i looked at your text file and thats not just a file i can replace with my default.asp file for this. what exactly is that text file for?

I uploaded the wrong file, sorry,I replaced it!
and when I said to match the table size to the Quick Reply's textarea, I mant make the text area bigger, not the table smaller.
and if you updated the forum, upgrade it using setu.asp, there is a small database change, and it'll update the version number string.
