I get this error when I try to login on the sidebar.

Yes, you can download files without logging in or registering. But you will need to register to upload files to the site.

sorry for the late reply and I should have given a better decsription of the error.
I got the error logging in from the side bar, post login worked.
It is indeed working now .

I wanted to upload a mod, but I just read at snitz that I don't need to be logged in to do that .

Thats goes for downlading not uploading . I didn't think that sounded right .

Then how are you able to make this post, if you can't login?
I just fixed this error not too long ago:

I just tried logging out and in again and no error. From which page are you trying to login in/out from?
